Feature request: Ability to specify custom format

Currently uuid_definitions.json supports TEXT format for custom UUIDs.
In addition to #126, if we could specify other formats, eg fixed point, two's complement, custom formats, etc

Perhaps rather than having to try to code for each different format, an ability to write formatting code would allow the user to handle any format.
