Description

The DPU provisioning process involves a mandatory host reboot. This reboot is triggered as part of the provisioning workflow and is necessary to complete the setup of the DPU.

Impact

  • The host reboot causes a temporary disruption to services running on the affected host.
  • Reboots will extend the overall provisioning time and require careful scheduling to avoid unplanned service outages.

Resolution

This issue is under investigation.

Note: There is currently no workaround for this issue.

This issue is not under investigation, host reboot is part of the current DPU provisioning flow.
