I've been trying to use GPTL on derecho via module load gptl but my builds are failing at the linking stage with the message cannot find -lunwind. Are there any additional modules I should be loading? Module list yields:

Currently Loaded Modules:
  1) ncarenv/23.06 (S) 3) conda/latest 5) ncarcompilers/1.0.0 7) netcdf/4.9.2 9) gptl/8.1.1
  2) craype/2.7.20 4) gcc/12.2.0 6) hdf5/1.12.2 8) cray-mpich/8.1.25

In doing some research, I came across this issue and checked out the accompanying commit closing the issue. I noticed that the gcc version associated with the libunwind installation is 7.5.0 which, AFAIK, is not available currently on Derecho; could this have something to do with it? Thanks in advance!

For anyone interested, performing a local installation of both libunwind and gptl was pretty manageable as a workaround.

Thanks for reporting the problem, Jackson, and for providing a workaround! We'll get this resolved ASAP - just a bit bogged down with Casper tasks this week.
