Start up the JP version of Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas The Pumpkin King, start a new file, run for a few seconds and hit a cutscene trigger. This causes a lot of weird, buggy behaviors. Compare against the US version for correct trigger behavior.

I cannot recreate this issue. I am using the latest core version
