plasma shell crash when adding veromix widget

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.
I tried to drag the veromix widget, version 0.18.3-1 newly installed from Linux 
Mint Debian's repos, to my panel.
Additionally, I noticed that the widget chooser doesn't show an icon for this 
widget, but something that looks like a preview of a .desktop file (lines of 
text, unreadable of course).


What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Application: plasma-desktop (4.11.3)
KDE Platform Version: 4.11.3
Qt Version: 4.8.6
Operating System: Linux 3.12.6-sabayon-amd64-rjvb x86_64
Distribution: LMDE Cinnamon Edition
