I've experimented with this [inexperienced]. Tried to find a way for alphadin, but the document seems to need those styles.
However i could achive my goal [NamYY] for all:
In the proposal package where bibtex is loaded \RequirePackage[hyperref=auto,style=alphabetic,backend=bibtex, ... add maxcitenames=1 to avoid multiple authors.
In your document add \renewcommand*{\labelalphaothers}{} to supress the + sign for avoided authors.
I would be really nice to have more control ove the citation style. And I unfortunately lack the LaTeX skills. @kohlhase I owe you a beer, a tray already, but would be really glad if you could implement that.
