Update: I tried another host (Win11, Alder Lake, VirtualBox 7.0.18), and Win98 FE guest (SoftGPU v0.5.2024.29-alpha2 and Patcher9x v0.8.50-beta4).

That has already been resolved. Even without hardware acceleration, there is enough CPU power to play the video at the time. |
Hi, on Win98 FE and WMP 4.1, WMP had no hardware acceleration option. |
Please install Windows Media Player 6.4. |
And, on Win95 (950, 950B, 950C) and VMware 17, after install SoftGPU v0.5.2024.29-alpha2, the Windows Media Player cannot play AVI or MPG file. |
