Our most important update is that we have raised a motion to the GSF Steering Committee to progress the Impact Framework to the "graduated" stage of its lifecycle. This is a big milestone for the project!
The motion itself is here and it will stay open for discussion until 24th December.
In the two weeks running up to raising the motion, we have focused on cleaning up the repository and making sure we conform to all the graduation requirements. This included auditing our compliance with the SSF security best practises, gathering testimonials from users, tidying up some documentation and preparing our v1.0 release.
Our v1.0-beta release is now available for you all to test - we'll upgrade it to a full release when the graduation has been ratified by the SC.
Issues
No particular problems encountered.
Outlook
We are now awaiting the decision of the Steering Committee to graduate the project.
After graduation, we will no longer have a full time development team, and instead development of Impact Framework will be dependent upon requests and reports from our users and members and contributions from the open source community. A small core team will still monitor and maintain the project repositories, manage the mailing list and discussion boards and work on integrations and adoption.
