Shouldn't the author of a poll be able to edit the dates, or at least add dates to the end of a poll?

Additional information
A common use case is that key attendees aren't all able to attend any times during the originally polled time, hence additional dates need to be added. Given that people's availability may change, it is common to leave the original dates so they can still be voted on. Am I wrong in saying that crab.fit would currently require an entirely new poll for this, hence asking people to vote again on days they have already voted on? If so the inability to extend a poll's date range seems to be a fatal flaw.
