Cant Download Modpacks And Cant Run Modpacks

Describe the bug

there are 2 issues happening right now for me and a friend.

1. when trying to download mod packs it fails with an unknown error

2. when it finally somehow lets you download FTB Skies and you try to run it it gives the error "net.creeperhost.creeperlauncher.install.tasks.DownloadFailedException: Download failed"

Steps to reproduce

Issue #1:

1. Try To Download Any Modpack
2. Error Happens

Issue # 2:

1. Try To Run FTB Skies
2. Wait For It To Start
3. Errors Out

Expected behaviour

Issue #1 : to download when the download button is hit Issue #2: the game to run

I also have this issue and to make this even more strange: It worked on another machine on mine but not on the other.

even stranger is that it suddenly started working for me but not for my friend. no idea whats going on but its very strange indeed. plus i havent tried in a number of days, might not work for me again now...

I just uninstalled my antivirus, used windows defender again, uninstalled ftb from the roaming and local folder under %appdata%, reinstalled on admin rights then reconnected to my minecraft account and somehow it works now?
