Emuachievements has stopped being able to connect to my Retroachievements account. Here's a list of things I tried:

  • Resetting my API key
  • Clearing Cache
  • Using the Testing Store version
  • Reinstalling Emuachievements
  • Checking the associated json file (could not find one with my account information)

I'm afraid I'm out of options to fix this by myself. Any idea what could be going on?

I'm having the same issue since last night. I hope someone can guide us through troubleshooting or even a fix.

Just decided to hit the Login button again before heading to bed and it managed to actually connect this time! @BRIUSTUDIOS try again, maybe it'll log you in as well.

Glad it worked for you! I actually found a solution for me. Here are the steps I did.

  1. uninstall emuchievements plugin from decky.
  2. go on desktop mode and search for /homebrew/plugin/emuchievements.
  3. delete the plugin folder.
  4. install emuchievements plugin from the store.
  5. once you do that you’ll get a notification to login.
  6. back to desktop mode go back to the plugin folder and search for settings.json.
  7. copy and paste both username and API.
  8. boot up on game mode and now it should work.

I tried to do what BRIUSTUDIOS said; but I can find nothing called settings.json in that folder.

I had emuachievements working a day ago; but somehow it wiped my login information and now I am getting these errors again. Not sure what to do.
