To Do:

  • Compare with non-interactive version and make sure the same content is covered.
  • Add section on data frame/tabular data.
  • Replace Data description by using a shared child document instead (cooridante with other TAs).
  • Remove select(), filter(), and slice() commands.
  • Write a description of the tutorial.
  • Include learning goals.
  • Include interactive exercises where students write or modify code.
  • Add hints and/or solutions for exercises (if using hints, the solution can be your last hint).
  • Add questions to test understanding of key concepts.
  • Use progressive reveal.

Would you like learning goals for each section, or are learning goals for the tutorial as a whole okay?

There are no hard and fast rules. Check out this section in Teaching Tech Together.

There's already a section on tabular data. What other content would you like to include?

Does it cover the basic layout ie rows and columns? Then that is probably enough.
