you have already merged #7760 to the project which improves node connection, please add #7999 as well.

@selsta runs both of these on their node and its extremely stable

@r4v3r23
The script pulls the node software from getmomero.org - neither of those PRs have been implemented in termux node yet.

I'm not sure how comfortable people are with running a binary that I compile.

@CryptoGrampy, what do you think?
Both are on the table for the next Dev meeting.
May be best to wait for official merge - though, no clue when or if.

Interesting, are they implemented in the latest binaries now or?

  • I branched old master and merged 7760+7999.
  • Current master has conflicts on 7760 - I didnt bother.
  • Neither is merged to official monero-project/monero yet.
  • 7999 likely wont be any time soon / before the fork. (Needs review)

Thoughts on releasing our own vs staying with official binaries vs making it an option?
I made it optional

I have master + 7760 + 7999 + smaller bug fixes here: https://github.com/selsta/monero/tree/master-beta
