Is this behavior something that still happens? I can't seem to find any pop-ups that close when switching to another window

Nice of you to try and figure this out, as this is basically just browser-behaviour, and isn't that much of an issue.

So open a popup (settings, manga-info, search) and tab out of the browser-window, click into the background of the site, popup closes, as the browser doesn't know that you simply wanted to focus the window again.
