Azure IoT Slave Device Update

Hello,

I have a custom device connected to the Azure IoT hub, I can use ADU to update the firmware.
The device also has a few Slave devices via the RS485 interface(those don't have an Internet Connection). I am interested if I can update the Slave device's firmware via ADU.
I researched and got some information about proxy updates but it's confusing as I am new to Azure IoT hub.

Hello, thanks for the replay

The confusing part is that there is no explicit example of how I can update components firmware, the component which is connected to Master device (the Azure IoT hub connected device). So I use the ADU demo sample, is it compatible with proxy update? (I am not sure if a proxy update is what I need, but I write down above precisely what I need.)

Thanks for the feedback on the docs. Would you have specific questions? It does sound like proxy update would cover your scenario but it would require additional code not in our samples to communicate with the secondary devices over RS485.
