Log Analytics Workspace in Azure Multiregion

Describe the feature end to end, including deployment scenario details under which the feature would occur.

Looking at the reference architecture https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cloud-adoption-framework/ready/landing-zone/ there does not appear to be any consideration for log analytics in a DR scenario (Loss of region). Is this something that is being considered in ALZ to offer this as part of the deployment as per the link below?

We do have a currently parked feature to for the Log Analytics workspace design. @sebassem may be able to provide a bit more insight on this. In any case, moving this to the upstream Enterprise-Scale repository.

@gerrynicol Thanks for opening this issue, we haven't yet started working on adding guidance for this item given there hasn't been enough evidence on the need for such implementation. Did you face any outage for log analytics that triggered this issue, or you are just looking for guidance at the moment?
